Next Session Starts in September

This is an ongoing literature discussion class.  Each month, a book will be chosen with weekly reading assignments given. During the weekly meetings, we will analyze, discuss, project, and dissect what we’ve read in a safe and relaxed environment.  We will make connections with the characters, the social issues, and each other. But most of all, we will bring literature to life!

When acting is taught from the inside out, with a focus on being present and playful, students learn to trust their impulses, their emotional expression and their voices. The skills developed by an actor are the skills we need in life!

Authentic acting happens when the student shows up as the unique person he or she is, which happens in an environment of play, caring and acceptance. This class is a safe place for shy students.
